- DKDaniel K.Verified BuyerReviewingWalnut Magnetic Saya for 10.6" SujihikiI recommend this productRated 5 out of 5 stars8 hours agoYou get what you pay for with sayas
I own many knives and have sayas for each one. The sayas range in price based on quality in wood, craftsmanship, etc. Cheaper standard sayas are in $20-30 range. This is a beautiful premium walnut saya with nice grain pattern and heavier weight bc the wood is dense and not cheap. I added a gloss clear coat, as I do to all my sayas, which make them pop in addition to stain resistance. If you can afford to pay up for a walnut or higher quality wood saya than the standard plain poplar wood, it is well worth it.

I admittedly can say I was worried about the strength of the magnetic hold of the saya because for the longest time I’ve used classic saya with a pin. However, after a month of using it daily and keeping it in my knife bag I have had no issues with it failing to hold the blade tight or falling off itself. I like it very much and will most likely purchase another my next order.
