- Magnets are fully embedded in the edge of the saya (not exposed) so they will not fall out and with the perfect placement to hold onto the spine of your knife with no need for a pin
- Natural food safe oil finish with a high level of sanding for a totally smooth construction
- Crafted of locally sourced American Black Walnut wood
- Designed for use with knives with thicker spines, 2.5mm up to 5mm; thinner blade knives and knives with bolsters may not hold as well

It has an excellent look to it. It fits my Sujihiki likea glove, the magnetics hold it very tight very happy with it. My knife is very thin, but the width of the Saya will accommodate a much thicker spine than mine.

I bought this because I own multiple bunka knives. Because of storage limitations in my house, it is necessary for me to pull those knives not in the current rotation. This allows me to safely and securely store those knives not currently being used.
