    Sharp good quality knife

    I love the burnt oak handle and overall this is a beautiful and well designed knife. I use it mostly for preparing salads, cutting garlic and herbs. The knife is made by Sakoda Hamono in Susaki and is finely crafted, with an elegant kurouchi finish that matches the burnt oak of the handle. The knife is very sharp straight from the box.

    Great petty

    Needed a true petty in my rotation and love the look of the burnt oak handle. Knife was sharp out of the box, and the fit and finish were excellent. Very pleased with this knife — it will get used a lot for small prep and detail work.
