Maker: Yoshikazu Ikeda
Origin: Sakai, Japan
Shape: Gyuto (Chef's Knife)
This limited-production knife was crafted by master blacksmith Yoshikazu Ikeda in Sakai, Japan. Hand-forged in the traditional 'honyaki' style, it utilizes pure Shirogami #1 steel and a water-quenching ('mizu') process to maximize hardness. The deeply etched 'kachikaeshi' finish creates a stunning brown-to-dark color shift across the blade, revealing the beautiful 2M+2N ('Two Mountains + Two Moons') pattern that mimics the iconic silhouette of Mount Fuji. This knife is a true work of art.
