Yoshikane SKD Nashiji Stainless Clad 9.4" Sujihiki, Walnut

Finally bought it. Whoa!! A knife with a bladesmith pedigree. Pictures don’t tell the story. Incredible attention to detail. Sharp as expected (hand forged and sharpened of course). SKD steel is semi-stainless like A2 steel from the U.S. This is my “it ” knife. Slices like nobody’s business and doubles as a gyuto. My first 240mm (9.4 in.) sword! Have your cake and eat it too! More from Yoshikane Hamono as soon as humanly possible. Did I say I like it?

I love this knife, it feels great in the hand, has an excellent balance, the finish is very good, the edge retention is good and it glides through meat and fish very well.
