Whetstone platform
It’s nice, eminently functional and hopefully long lasting. Could it be improved? Absolutely, the slide mechanism washers should be wider, more substantial. Same for the wingnuts. The whetstone platform itself could be wider, it’s narrower than some of my stones, and might get wobbly? On the whole it’s fully acceptable, particularly for the cost invested. A suggestion; add a second small wooden block for whetstone hold, as replacement, should the first domino sized piece break, or get lost.
