Sometimes you need more than a paring knife, but not a chef's knife, and this knife hits that sweet spot perfectly. Yes, it's sharp, well made, and feels right in the hand, as are all Yaxell knives, and I have two others, but this knife's real utility is in it's size and shape.

Very handy every day knife. It's light, nimble and extremely sharp. Small items should be cut with a small knife, so this knife can be used chopping, slicing and dicing garlic, small carrots,mushrooms,celery etc. I pealed a dozen Granny Smith apples in no time or effort. Really a joy to use and at a great $$.
