Description

The Yaxell Mon Kiritsuke Knife is designed for all the tasks for which you'd use a chef's knife. It works extremely well with vegetables, julienne, dice, and more. Can also be used for cleaning and portioning boneless proteins, particularly fish, and slices cooked proteins with grace and ease. The straight edge won't rock through cuts such as a traditional chef's knife. Constructed from 3-layer Japanese Cobalt Molybdenum Vanadium VG10 superior stainless steel clad by high quality stainless steel from both sides. The handle is made of black canvas micarta with two stainless steel rivets. The canvas material is dyed black and brilliantly polished to last for decades. The engraved end-cap of the handle is made of 18/10 stainless steel, which provides outstanding stability and balance.

    Great, Sharp Knife

    This knife is amazing. Comes out of the box very sharp, love the design (not too over the top). Great for cutting hefty items and can filet fish and poultry with no problems. I love this knife.

    Great Knife!

    After buying the Yaxell 8” Kiritsuke knife, I was so impressed with this knife and bought it for my son 2 weeks ago who loved the knife. As of my other Yaxell knives, it was so sharp and good quality build even in lower line series.

    Awesome first knife!

    This is my first Japanese knife, and the first "good" knife that I buy. The finish of the knife is awesome and while the "cloud" style hamon is fake, it looks amazing. I have used it a few times and it holds the edge very well, finally I can cut and slice through meats and vegetables without having first to sharpen a cheap knife before I used it.
