Description

The Wusthof Gourmet Hollow Edge Nakiri Knife is used for slicing, dicing and chopping large fruits and vegetables. Combines the features of a chef's knife with the versatility of a vegetable cleaver. The blade shape finds its origin in Japan. The thin and wide blade produces very fine and even cuts. Features a hollow edge blade which provides less drag while cutting.

Wusthof Gourmet full-tang knives are precision stamped from a single piece of exclusive Wusthof high-carbon stainless steel. Manufactured from one piece of a special mixture of chrome, vanadium, molybdenum and stainless steel, precisely cut with the latest state of the art laser technology. The ABS polymer triple-riveted handle to the stainless steel tang provides excellent balance and maneuverability and is resistant to high heat and high impact for the ultimate in durability. Wusthof Gourmet knives are made in Solingen, Germany with a lifetime warranty.

    Fantastic knife

    I saw all the cooks and chefs using this knife. It looked like it

    Nice feel for a good slicer

    Purchased a few weeks ago for my wife. It's not a cleaver but resembles one slightly. It is lighter and the blade is not as deep. The long skinny blade make it great for slicing fruits and veggies without the normal blade turn as you get further into the cut. Balanced pretty well but is still a very light knife though it looks heavier. It has become a popular knife now that everyone has used it.

    I'm go glad I waited, it finally went on sale!

    I had wanted this knife, but decided to wait, I'm so glad I did because it finally went on sale. Great purchase. Sturdy but lightweight and cuts amazingly well. I would absolutely recommend this knife to add to one's collection!
