Brand: Tadokoro
Sharpener: Makoto Tadokoro
Blacksmith: Satoshi Nakagawa
Origin: Tosa, Japan
Shape: Petty (Utility Knife)
Please note: This ultra-premium knife does not ship with a final edge. While Tadokoro-san is meticulous about his grinding and sharpening process, he intentionally leaves the final edge off his double-bevel knives. The blade is moderately sharp out of the box due to excellent geometry, but it is up to the end user to perform the final sharpening to their own specifications for peak performance.
Please check the blade specifications and product photos carefully. We have specifically requested this blade length, height and finish, as all Tadokoro knives are custom made.
