Shun 4 Piece Shima Steak Knife Set, Natural Tagayasan

I love the "feel" of this knife in the hand, and the look on the table. We tried a "top sirloin" that was tough but this knife cut it like it was a prime steak.

Been waiting to get some higher end steak knives. These Shun knives are razor sharp cut thru meat so easily. They are light weight and handle well.

I bought a set of shun hiro knives for my wife for Christmas. Fantastic quality. Just ordered a set of shun steak knives. Non serrated very well balance and very sharp.

These steak knives are the knives I've waited my entire adult life to buy. Beautiful, sharp, sleek and well balanced. I can't wait to have people over for steaks just so I can show them off. I'm sure my three sons will fight over them when I'm gone. Once again Shun does not disappoint.

Brought 2 sets as a gift. They are lazer sharp! Great easy ergonomic feel in hand. Classic steak knife look and feel with Shun quality. Have full Shun block set, so I knew what to expect. NOTE: Don't plow into bone with these knifes. The thinner blade edges could be damaged. Extra sharpness trade off in thinner 16 degree blade angle. Shun uses better steel than the German brands, but the edges are more easily damaged than the German brands. If you want almost unmatched sharp cutting ability Shun is the knife(s) for you, just be mindful of what you are cutting and how you are using the blade.
