I have been using standard kitchen aid style knives for a long time. Decided to upgrade to a set of Shun Premier knives including this bread knife. What a difference! I never realized that I was pushing the knives through food rather than having a knife sharp enough to cut the food effortlessly. These knives are amazing! They are extremely well made in my opinion and making cutting things like bread, vegetables and meats east. I highly recommend these knives.

I purchased this product as well as 6 other Shun knives to fill my roll and absolutely love all of them. I bought these products while working at a four star four diamond restaurant and love using them and they preformed very well, If i had the choice to go over again I would have bought the Miyabi full birchwood knives. while twice the price, those are the only knives that i know to be even sharper and stronger than my shun premiers
