The Miyabi Black Chef's Knife is the most indispensable of all knives. Perfectly diced onions and peppers, slender zucchini matchsticks, roll cut carrots and thinly shredded cabbage are just a few strokes away with this powerful, versatile tool. The Miyabi Black 5000MCD67 series is a stunning example of the finest Japanese craftsmanship. Features an extremely hard Micro Carbide powder super steel core for excellent cutting edge retention and sharpness. The core of the blade is surrounded by 132 outer layers of steel which make up the unique Damascus design pattern on the blade. The handle sits comfortably in the hand, allowing firm control and tireless working. It's recommended to hand wash only, and using glass, ceramic or stone cutting boards should be avoided. Made in Japan with a lifetime warranty.

    Great knife

    I have it for ten days and I will say that this is real Japanese quality. Steel MC66 also ZDP189 is great. The knife cut is amazing.

    By far my Favorite Knife

    I live with several roommates and we entertain every so often! This beautiful knife I use for veggies, fish and meats&poultry! It’s an all round knife! I love it! It stays in the box it came in, great for storing this beauty!
