I bought Mauviel's 10-inch Copper Skillet from you a couple months' ago. I bought the top-of-the-line, the M200Ci, thinking it would work great, as I have other Mauviel Copper pots and pans. Well, I was wrong. After using the pan a couple times, the handle started rusting and has been rusting more and more ever since. The stainless steel interior is also not like a top-of-the-line stainless steel (ie. All-Clad) in that you cannot remove stains from it easily, and I don't really understand why, since I only hand wash soon after cooking, when the pan has cooled down, as per instructions. I can only think that either this is a counterfeit Mauviel item or Mauviel sometimes makes really poor items.

Soon after I bought this "top of the line" Mauviel 8" Copper skillet, my son used it to make eggs and burnt the pan. Unlike all my other stainless steel copper core All-Clad pans (which are the only other ones that have had burnt food countless times), I cannot remove the burnt stains off my Mauviel 8" Copper pan. This leads me to believe that this item is either counterfeit or that Mauviel makes really, really poor stainless steel/copper items. I am very, very disappointed in the 2 Mauviel items that I have bought from this company, as they are the only 2 Mauviel items that I've had problems with, and I have a total of 10 Mauviel pots and pans from various companies.
