Description

The Mac Professional Hollow Edge Slicing Knife is frequently used for thinly slicing fish. The long, narrow blade produces thin, even slices with ease and the curved blade shape allows the knife to fall through tender meats very quickly. The hollow edges reduce drag which further allows this knife to cut through most proteins with little effort. Can also be used to fillet large fish such as salmon, tuna, and halibut. The weight of the bolster in combination with the blade makes this extremely well balanced in the center of your hand. Cut through most foods using minimal effort. Made in Japan with a 25-year warranty.

    Money Well Spent!

    I have been a professional chef for 30 years. I started using MAC knives about 16 years ago and will not use any other brand since then. This particular knife I bought to do sushi with. My other Chef knives are all MAC's. Think of it as if you were a mechanic. You buy only the best tools for your trade. My trade is being a Chef and I think that MAC makes the best blades in the business.
