    Feather light

    Very light knife, effortless to use. pretty sharp out of the box but I did need to give it a few swipes on a ceramic honing rod after a couple uses, was razor sharp after that and it didn't take much. Looks even better with patina starting to develop on the core steel. This knife fills the gap between my paring knife and my bunka or chef's knives very well, I expect it to get a lot of use.

    Worth every penny!

    I couldn't make this knife for less than the price. On my knife the tang is about 2mm exposed at the handle. This is not uncommon with knives of this style and only an esthetics problem. Sharpness, edge retention, blade finish and the handle are superior. The only reason anyone would pay more is for a name.
