Description

Gude knives, for over 100 years and to this day, are drop forged in Solingen, Germany. This LARGE left-handed bread knife is no exception. In 1931, Franz Gude, the son of founder Karl Gude, invented a unique grinding stone that would produce what is now the most commonly used serrated edge today. Deemed "The Bread Saw", this Gude bread knife is big. It is designed to tackle any and all loaves of crusty breads. It will slice cleanly, efficiently and with authority. This is one of the only high quality ambidextrous bread knives made. This particular model features a single-bevel serration (16 degrees) on the left side of the blade, therefore it is specifically designed for optimum control in left-handed use. Made in Solingen, Germany.
