Description

The Zwilling Professional Oval Sharpening Steel is ideal to use between sharpening. Using a honing steel regularly is very important and will lessen the amount of times you will need to sharpen your knives. A honing steel re-aligns the edge of the knife blade. Simply place the heel of the knife blade onto the steel at a 20° angle and pull downward with little pressure. Repeat on each side 7 to 8 times. Made in Germany with a lifetime warranty.

Perfect Honer
This honer is exactly the kind of honer I was looking for. The oval shape is much easier to use and helps keep your knives at the angle you need to have them to hone properly. The 12" length on this honer is amazing. Less pulls to achieve the same or better results. Love this item.
