Yoshikane SKD Nashiji Stainless Clad 9.4" Sujihiki, Walnut

I've had a couple of these over the years, not by Yosh very happy with it thus far.

Very well, balanced for such a long knife easy to maintain forward pressure when drawing through a large fish. Use it for all my initial cuts before moving to a different knife for finer prep.

I love this knife! The handle feels amazing and the blade is awesome!

Finally bought it. Whoa!! A knife with a bladesmith pedigree. Pictures don’t tell the story. Incredible attention to detail. Sharp as expected (hand forged and sharpened of course). SKD steel is semi-stainless like A2 steel from the U.S. This is my “it ” knife. Slices like nobody’s business and doubles as a gyuto. My first 240mm (9.4 in.) sword! Have your cake and eat it too! More from Yoshikane Hamono as soon as humanly possible. Did I say I like it?

I love this knife, it feels great in the hand, has an excellent balance, the finish is very good, the edge retention is good and it glides through meat and fish very well.
