Description

The Wusthof Classic Asian Prep Knife features a sharp tip, which can be used to peel ginger. This multi-tasking knife is also perfect for processing vegetables for stir fry and thinly slicing meats. Use the tip and razor-sharp edge for everything from skinning fish to shaving vegetables.

Wusthof Classic full-tang knives are precision forged from a single piece of exclusive Wusthof high-carbon stainless steel. The handle design is made of a highly durable synthetic material known as Polyoxymethylene (POM), which features a tighter molecular structure to resist fading and discoloration. Each Wusthof Classic knife features a computer controlled cutting edge to ensure the final edge of the blade is precise and uniform from the tip to the heel. The Wusthof PEtec angle and tapered cutting edge reduces drag when slicing foods, allowing for seamless and effortless cutting. Each knife blade is completely buffed and polished by hand. Wusthof Classic knives are made in Solingen, Germany with a lifetime warranty.

    Great versatile little knife for small to medium kitchen tasks. Very sharp out of the box. I wish Wusthof has a seven inch version with the exact profile. I like them enough to buy extras for each of my kids.

    What a wonderful little knife. Very versatile for small to medium kitchen tasks. Very sharp out of the box. I just wish that Wusthof made a 7 in version with the exact same shape. Bought extras for each of my kids.

    SHARPEST KNIFE I'VE EVER OWNED!

    I'm a fan/collector of Wusthof "Classic" knives, including 2 Santoku knives. The Asian Prep knife is a great addition to the set. It will replace various paring knives that I use for chopping herbs, etc. It's a little longer and the shape at the edge is *almost* like the Santoku. It's very light and easy to handle. (I have small hands and arthritis. I don't need to be battling with a knife.)

    It is shockingly sharp! I use an electric sharpener on my knives, and usually put an "Asian" edge on them. This knife is sharper than anything I can get with the machine. Unlike my Santokus, I will not be putting this in the dishwasher! LOVE THIS KNIFE!
