Description

The Town Cutler Carbon Pommel Chef's Knife is known as the "workhorse" knife. A chef knife is a must-have knife, designed to perform well at many different kitchen tasks. Town Cutler Chef Knives are center-weighted and balance thinness and precision, with durability and strength.

Carbon steel has a higher carbon content and is, therefore, more reactive than stainless steel, which means it will visually change over time. Because of this, a natural patina, or hueing, will develop on carbon steel over time and will serve as a protective layer to the steel.
