Staub 7-quart Sapphire Blue Round Dutch Oven

I needed a new Dutch oven. The one I had was very inexpensive and the lack of quality showed as the interior became scratched and basically disintegrating. This worried me to be cooking in it anymore. My daughter bought a Staub a couple years ago and recommended it to me because of its durability. I have only had it for a few weeks but have made soup, beef stew and sour dough bread in it and everything has turned out great. Time will tell but I feel confident it will last years if not a lifetime for me, making the price worth it. The booklet that came with it goes into great detail of how it was made and all its attributes, plus care and cleaning. The exterior color is citron and looks so beautiful on my stovetop.

This is my second Dutch oven stove makes great ones also great looking they have on your stove. Top. Five stars would buy another one in the future from Cutler and more.

I purchased this Staub 7qt grenadine Dutch oven about I month ago and couldn’t be more pleased. It braises any meat to perfection, then allows me to deglaze and continue to cook either oven or stove top. Staub’s lid truly is self basting and in my opinion is the pinnacle of cast iron cookware period. Another point is the interior black coating, it’s amazing and so food safe compared to most. It cleans to new condition each and every time. Hope this review helps someone decide.

I was trying to decide if I really needed this Dutch Oven. I have the 4 quart. Sometimes it isn’t big enough for family dinners. Then I figured if I keep feeding my family on Sundays, it will be well worth it.
