Messermeister Avanta Forged 8 Piece Steak Knife Set with Pakkawood Handles

These steak knifes are exactly what I was looking for. They are sharp, light, beautiful, and very well made. I cannot be happier.

I bought a T-bone steak to initiate use of my new steak knives. The Avanta knives are a replacement for serrated knives. Avanta is a good choice. When you use them for the first time, the blade is very sharp and cuts easily. Time will tell how the blade edge lasts. I recommend them. Some of the reviews of these knives complained that there is no box for storing them. Not so. The knives come in boxes of four. The box is cardboard, but it is rigid, has cut-outs for the knives, and stores them securely. I paid about $15 a knife, including shipping. That is a fair price for the product.

Great looks take this knife only so far… the REAL proof of how good this knife is rests in its balanced hand-feel, sharp v-edge, and perfectly angled blade tip. Beauty AND the blade..a new tagline, for sure!

The knives are my favorite steak knives that I found so far the quality is well worth the price.
