My last one (Wusthof) lasted over 25 years, but with many sharpenings I could no longer get a decent edge...so time for a new one. Bought Messermeister this time, as the price was exceptional. Very, very pleased...razor sharp, and the slightly rounded handle is more comfortable than the old one
