Made with a single piece of stamped X50CrMoV15 stainless steel, the serrated blade holds a sharp edge. Half-tang Olivewood handle provides a great feel in your hand. 8.25" long blade. Quite honestly, I have yet to utilize this knife, but I can tell you that for a serrated blade, this is extremely sharp. For the price (just under $50) , I guess the thickness of the blade is acceptable ( a half a MM would have made the blade a little more rigid and that would have been better), but it's a bread knife. Otherwise, it's reasonably well made. I suspect that with proper care, this knife will last me the rest of my life. I'ld give it 4 1/4 stars out of five. Hope this helps.
