Nigara Aogami Super Migaki Tsuchime 8.25" Kiritsuke

This Nigara Kiritsuke with Super Blue steel is a phenomenal performer!

The Japanese KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING

What's best is it just keeps getting better; especially once you get into the steel a little bit - just stropping will put a smile on your face!

I already own the 9.4” Gyuto, Santoku, and 5.9” Petty from Nigara’s Aogami Super Migaki Tsuchime series, and this 8.25” Kiritsuke delivers the same excellent performance. They’re all extremely easy to sharpen, take very keen edges, and retain those edges exceptionally well.

The blade geometry makes cutting feel effortless, allowing the knife to glide through food with excellent food release. I’ve been consistently impressed with this series, and this Kiritsuke is another great addition to my collection. An outstanding lineup of knives.

Looks even more beautiful in person. Fit & finish are flawless. Has a nice weight to it, and plenty sharp out of the box. Definitely a fan of Nigara now.

Pretty sharp right out of the box!, highly recommend using a good leather strop and compound to crisp up the edge and really feel the quality! Will be buying more without a doubt.

Extremely sharp knife. Amazing craftsmanship. Balancing point is perfect for the pinch grip. We love this knife shipping was fast as well. Overall very pleased with our purchase.
