Description

This Messermeister Diamond Sharpening Steel is ideal for restoring the edge of the knife. It's excellent for sharpening stainless steel knives, scissors and other cutting tools. The solid diamond oval sharpening surface features a 800-medium grit with mono diamonds for knife maintenance. The ABS handle features a hanging hook, and a non-marking tip that protects supporting surfaces.

    Trying it out

    I haven't used diamond plates or rods before so nothing to compare this to yet. Seems well made and the length makes it easier to use. I like the oval shape so I can use the sides on serrated blades.
