The Saji Black Gold Damascus series features a stunning black etched blade crafted of Takeshi Saji's signature colored Rainbow damascus that incorporates brass and copper layers. The cutting core is VG10W, which is an improved version of VG10 with added tungsten for improved toughness. Takeshi Saji is a Chairman of Saji Blacksmith in Japan, as well as a member of Japan Knife Guild and Japan Custom Knife Makers. Takeshi Saji is officially certified as Dentoukougeishi, a Traditional Master Craftsman by the Japanese Ministry of International Trade and Industry.
