This is the first Enso HD I’ve purchased and I’m super impressed. This Japanese chef knife has a super sharp edge and a more traditional Japanese blade profile in comparison to brands such as Shun. The fit and finish of this knife is also truly amazing. This is a beautiful knife that offers great cutting performance with a very comfortable handle, highly recommended.

I bought this as well as the Enzo Hizashi 7" Bunka knife. These are SHARP, feel great in hand, comparable to Miyabi Koh/Koya in terms of sharpness, but not as hard or sharp as an SG2 level knife. For under $80 on sale, this level of knife for the price can't be beat. It punches above its grade level, and the hammered finish is very beautiful.
