This was highly recommended for fine Japanese knifes. It’s better than wood and the size is perfect for a small kitchen .

Personally, I would say I have a positive impression of this cutting board.

First, it has a good weight to it, which helps prevent it from slipping or moving around while chopping ingredients — definitely a strong point.

Second, since it’s black, I think any stains from food ingredients won’t be very noticeable.

Third, after washing the board, it dries quite quickly, which I find convenient.

On the downside, there is a slight rubber smell, though it’s not too strong. I believe it will go away after a few washes, so it’s not a major issue for me.

However, the main reason I decided to return it is that the size turned out to be larger than I expected. I plan to purchase the same product again, but in a smaller size.
