Keskin

These Keskin brand knives are made of 5160 carbon steel with a medium hardness rating of HRC 60-62. These blades are ground thin at the edge with decently thick spines for workhorse performance. The carbon steel requires some maintenance (keep your blades dry when storing!), but these will be some of your highest performing chef's knives if cared for properly. We chose beautiful handmade octagonal handles made of amboyna burl with blonde buffalo horn ferrules for this collection. Each knife comes well oiled and packaged with a custom matching full amboyna burl saya and ebony pin. These artisan kitchen knives are entirely made by hand in East Java, Indonesia.
