I have been using Mac Cutlery now for better part of 15 years, I recently re-purchased an entire set only because I gave my old set to an up-and-coming chef who couldn’t afford new. I highly suggest this particular brand and that I never sharpen my knives only a honing after each use it remains sharp

Bought this for my wife. We have never had a “real” good knife. So far we are super impressed. Saying that only thing we can compare to is inexpensive knives.
We did buy the MAC 15deg sharpener and glad we did. It keeps the edge well maintained.
