Hatsukokoro Shinkiro

This series of knives is made by Takahiro Nihei in Fukushima, Japan. Nihei is a Japanese Master blacksmith specializing in carbon steel knives. The Hatsukokoro Shinkiro line is hand-forged from Aogami Super carbon steel with carbon damascus cladding with a rustic kurouchi finish. These blades feature robust spines with distinct tapering for a terrific balance between weight and thinness.
