Nexus 7" Chinese Cleaver with Sheath

This is very good for the price.

I am currently exploring cooking Asian food and this Cleaver really helps with the athenticity of the cooking experience.

Since I never used a Chinese Cleaver before I decided to take a chance on this at a "moderate" price point.

Sure glad I did because this seems to be very good and solid at this very moderate price point. Some Chinese cleavers cost $450 and more!

You can not beat this for the price. Sharp right out of the box and use to maintain. A few licks on a ceramic rod and you are good to go!

I bought this for my boyfriend who wanted a cleaver type knife for heavier prep. We both love it. Very sharp, great handle. We love that it has a sheath and a quality one. Very nice for the price. So far I have loved everything I bought from the Nexus line!

Ever since I saw a video of a Chinese chef slicing vegetables at great speed with machine like precision, I had to have a Chinese vegetable clever. First one I purchased was basically a chef knife that was too thick, heavy, and cumbersome. I knew I wanted a thinner and lighter blade. I liked the specs of the Nexus clever and decided to give it a try. I really like! It's a great vegetable knife, well made, laser beam sharp, razor blade thin, and not too heavy. It's also my fist knife with a higher Rockwell hardness. I use a first generation Ken Onion sharpener that makes quick work of sharpening, otherwise it could be a time consuming challenge. It took a little time getting used to it but now I love it and look forward to using it. I recommend it.
