Enso SG2 7 Piece Gray Ash Slim Knife Block Set

The (Yaxell) Enzo SG2s are excellent knives only bested by the sister Yaxell Ypsilon line. They look great and keep their edge a long time due to their supergold 2 steel. The handles are very conforming but will lose their glossy top layer over time just from general use. Not an issue as grip and form still good. The packaging presentation of the kit is poor sadly as all the knives are surprisingly thrown into one box without any holding forms. This doesn’t matter much to most until you buy any Japanese knives (even Enzo knives) individually and see the care and beautiful presentation of individual boxes supplied. It is unusual how poor the knives were packaged for such a high end set. Clearly a space saving decision but one unappreciated for such an expensive set. As with most sets you don’t get the best speciality knives such as longer bread knives or 240mm gyutos but this set’s make up is still very good and will do your average knife user proud.
