Well made and finished
This knife block is well made and finished, functions fine.
Because it is very upright, it may not work well when placed on counter under a cupboard, there may not be enough space left to draw the knives out up top. On the other hand being upright, the knife blades gets less contact with the block when inserting or drawing them out, which is a plus.
