Enso Hizashi 6 Piece Knife Block Set

Grabbed this set at a ridiculously low price during the anniversary sale. I sent a link to my nephew also, and before I could ask what he thought he sent a text saying he just bought them. Very sharp, very shiny, handles feel good, fit and finish is good, and the selection of knives in this set is awesome. My nephew loves his set too, called the bread knife "diabolical". My only small complaints weren't enough to take off a star or anything, but I'll mention them. The knives were packed together in a small box with cardboard sleeves to protect the blades but there were a few small scratches on them from banging around in shipping, the knife block was in plastic and it's own box but had a big scratch down one side, and the handles seemed super dry and needed oiling. The last one is nothing really, most of my new knives have benefitted from some tsubaki oil or mineral oil on the handles. They look much better now. Basically they could just use some better packaging. I think at full price they are fairly similar to a lot of other knives in that range so would come down to preferences, but catch them on sale and it's a no brainer. Very happy with my purchase.
