Debated between the tan version and the black version. This is plenty soft on knives and solid enough for everyday prep. Very happy it can go in the dishwasher.
Bought a smaller one for convenience.

We have been using Hasegawa cutting boards (the smooth tan ones) for a few years. Very happy with them. This new Pro-PE board is an improvement. Less staining. Easier to clean. And I will bet I find it easier on knife edges over the next month or so. I will buy a small version for traveling to Air BnB and other rental properties for the knives in my travel kit.
