I’m very happy with this knife

This knife arrived very sharp out of the box, but what impressed me even more was how easily it responded to sharpening. After just a few minutes on the whetstones, I was able to bring the edge to an even higher level of sharpness.

The blade geometry is very good, especially for a stamped knife. It moves through food cleanly without feeling thick or wedgy behind the edge, and the food release is better than I expected. The knife also feels comfortable and well controlled in the hand during normal prep work.

From a performance-to-price standpoint, this knife is difficult to criticize. It arrives sharp, takes a very keen edge easily, has good cutting geometry, good food release, and comfortable ergonomics. There really isn't anything about it that I would consider a meaningful weakness. For the money, it offers excellent performance and value.

    Great looking knife

I purchased this life is my first Japanese knife super sharp. It’s so good looking and I don’t even want to use it, but it slices through tomatoes like butter.
