Got this knife factory second and still unsure what the defects were but I'm happy with it. The shape is so unusual but lends itself to rocking pushing slicing and all so smoothly. I've yet to have to sharpen or even hone it but still glides through veggies

The Enso SG2 Prep knife works perfectly, laser sharp and absolutely beautiful. One small slip while engraving the blade barely visible to the naked eye made this blade a second... My friend couldn't find the flaw..made me happy.

Beautiful knife. I cannot figure out why this is considered a factory second! Crazy sharp right out of the box. I normally reach for a nakiri or chef’s knife, but finding the balance and control of this santoku has it in use more and more often. I highly recommend this knife. Especially at a discount price!

I've recently gotten more into cooking at home and decided to start replacing my knife block knives with something nicer. This is the first piece I've gotten and it is amazing. Cuts through anything like butter right out of the box. It's crazy how much of a difference having a truly sharp knife makes. I can prep meals so much faster. Also, this is a factory second and I can't find a single blemish on it. The knife is beautiful and feels really well made. The only thing maybe is a slightly rough grind on the spine near the handle, but it looks fine and I could be wrong. This is a great deal. I will hopefully be getting the 7 inch bunka and maybe 8 inch chef knife
