I started using commercial grade plastic cutting boards decades ago. They have served me well. Then I stumbled upon a video about Asahi cutting boards and decided to give one a try. This board feels GREAT. Much softer than plastic, a sharp knife feels great on these. I'm getting another, this cutting board is a game changer

I’m really happy with this cutting board. It’s the perfect size and weight—not too big or too small—which makes it great for everyday use at home. It stays firmly in place while I’m chopping, so it feels very stable and safe to use.
The cutting feel is excellent too. It has just the right amount of bounce, which not only makes chopping more comfortable but also helps prevent the knife from getting dull too quickly. Another great feature is how quickly it dries after washing—super convenient and hygienic.

I like that it’s easy on my knives but the board stains easier than a white T-shirt. Tomatoes and carrots are tough to get out and that’s even with washing immediately after use.
