Nimble, Razor Sharp, and Beautifully Made

Most of my knives are larger, so I’ve really come to appreciate the nimbleness of this petty knife for smaller, more precise tasks. The size makes it extremely easy to control and a great complement to my larger chef knives and bunkas.

It came razor sharp right out of the box, but the Aogami Super steel gets even better with a little time on the whetstones. It takes an extremely keen edge, holds that edge well, and responds very nicely to stropping between sharpening sessions.

Fit and finish are excellent, and the knife feels very well made overall. It’s quickly become one of my favorite knives for smaller prep work.
