Enso Walnut Magnetic Sheath for 8" Kiritsuke Knife

This was my first magnetic sheath; I got it to protect the Nakiri I bought. I have several of the other style, with a pin to lock the knife in place.

I prefer this, because somehow, even in a tiny kitchen, I have managed to misplaced, lose, or jettison those pins. This solves a problem I didn't know I had, or, rather, it solves a problem for which I didn't realize there was such an easy solution. The quality is excellent and I will be ordering these for future knives. Oh, and probably for the knives with missing pins, as well.

fits the enso knife perfectly! good quality!

Fits the enso kiritsuke perfectly and looks great in my knife roll.

It fits my new knife perfectly and with the magnets it won't come out unless you want it to.

Enso makes the best magnetic sheaths, bar none, for two reasons. First, they use fine woods, the sheaths are lined with some type of cloth to protect the blade, and the edge side is slotted to protect against rust should the blade be damp when inserted into the sheath. Second, Enso sheaths are pretty much always made to match a specific Enso knife, which means that unlike the more generic sheaths you get a really good fit and the magnets are properly aligned to grip the blade tightly. In this instance I bought the sheath along with an Enso 6" utility knife and it's perfect for it.
