Yoshikane SKD Nashiji Stainless Clad 6.5" Santoku, Bubinga

I own 52 knives and 11 of them are Yoshikane. I can’t say objectively they are the best brand. I’ve can say I have a lot of knives and Yoshikane is the best I’ve tried so far.

Incredibly sharp out of the box. Perfect fit and finish.

The knife works as well as expected. As a Yoshikane you expect top level work. It delivers whenever it is called upon for work.

I’ve been using this knife daily since purchasing it and it’s quickly become my favorite.

Fit and finish are excellent, it’s incredibly lightweight, and the out-of-the-box edge was seriously impressive. Cutting feels smooth and controlled across everything I’ve used it on so far.

A great balance of performance and craftsmanship — exactly what I was hoping for.

I needed a new workhorse style knife and not use my 8-9inch knife all the time.

This was perfect. Maybe it's a little personal preference but it's either a 6.5 or 7 inch knife is all you need daily.

The performance on this thing is insane. I prefer it to my miyabi kramer knife I think. It's also extremely beautiful and very light as well. If anything were to happen to it, I'd probably replace it with another of the same.

I want to branch out and buy different knives but Yoshikane might have just won me over.
