Description

The Wusthof Classic Serrated Slicing Knife features saw-like teeth serrations, making this ideal for all types of meats and roasts, as well as all kinds of bread. Wusthof Classic full-tang knives are precision forged from a single piece of exclusive Wusthof high-carbon stainless steel. The handle design is made of a highly durable synthetic material known as Polyoxymethylene (POM), which features a tighter molecular structure to resist fading and discoloration. Each Wusthof Classic knife features a computer controlled cutting edge to ensure the final edge of the blade is precise and uniform from the tip to the heel. The Wusthof PEtec angle and tapered cutting edge reduces drag when slicing foods, allowing for seamless and effortless cutting. Each knife blade is completely buffed and polished by hand. Wusthof Classic knives are made in Solingen, Germany with a lifetime warranty.

    Cold meat knife

    I have several slicing knifes including a super slicer. All of these knifes are difficult to use and achieve consistent thin slices on cold meats. I’m referring to purchased smoke turky breast, pre-cooked boneless hams etc.

    This knife works when slicing these meats, cuts right through the meat, doesn’t flex and consistently cuts a nice thin slice of meat. My other slicers require a firm grip, when slicing or they slip off cutting a partial or a thicker than desired slice. This slicer allows a relaxed grip, it’s easy to control and not tiring to use

    Life Lover Hates Knife

    Thanks for the opportunity to tell you that, unfortunately, I hate this knife. I have Henckels knives and pots and pans, which I love. I used and loved a Victorianox roast slicer for 50 years, until all the scallops were gone. It is impossible to slice evenly with this knife; it demands to cut right to left. I am an excellent slicer, but I can't slice a tomato evenly: it is triple the thickness at the bottom , than at the top, of a two inch tomato. I can't imagine how uneven a nice roast slice would be; unpresentable at best. I tried again last night, and, unfortunately, concluded that I hate that knife. I should have bought another Victorianox for $30. Is there a trick that I am unaware of that can have me slicing beautiful slices again?
