First, I would like to say this isn't my first "good" knife. There are over 30 high quality German- and Japanese-style knives in my kitchen knife stable.
That being said, this knife surpasses all my expectations. I've been using this knife for about a month. Every time I use it I like it more. Vegetables, fruit, proteins - it does them all effortlessly.
It was crazy sharp out of the box. I can feel no degradation in the blade's sharpness. The blade is as keen today as the day it came out of the box.
Comfortable, perfectly balanced for a pinch grip and agile. Not too heavy, not too light. It's an awesome work of bladesmithing skill and craftsmanship.
It has become my go-to knife for almost every kitchen task. I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates and wants a marvelous knife.

Very happy with my purchase of the Yaxell Kiritsuke knife. It balances well and is very sharp. Makes preparing meals that much easier. The knife looks great as well. Time will tell how well the blade holds up against wear. I will also say that although the blade is 12 degrees, it is only a minor difference in feel when chopping vegetables compared to my VG10 blades

I do not know if I ever use this knife. I bought it with a stand, so the only missing part is a glass enclosure to put the knife on display like in an art museum. Beautiful and functional knife.
